It's been a while since I have been able to put together a succesful layout. I've lost my 'scrapbook mojo'. But I am happy with this. (The layout is blurry. I can't wait to get a new camera....) I love this layout because it really represents the casual approach we have decided to take towards family birthdays & other occasions. We have decided that we don't need parties to have fun. And that just spending time with each other will be a great way to celebrate. For Brian's 27th birthday we found a great park, packed a picnic & bought a mini carrot cake with sparklers. It was a perfect afternoon. Miles had such a great time. That being said, Molly turned one this week & we had a little bash... I was told that not having a first birthday party is against the law ;)

Lucky Us by Haley Ross

When I was doing this layout Michelle looked over & was surprised to see a single layout. I was initially as shocked as her. I seem to be doing those more & more often. But it works. And I only had 2 pieces of this awesome paper. It's my first ever St.Patricks day layout.. mind you, I did have something awesome to celebrate (Molly).

Also, I can't believe I am only at 41 layouts for this year. Oops! I am beginning to think that my goal of 100 (which was toned down from 150 last year) is a little too far fetched. We'll see!

Oh My Word!

Some of the stuff that we ordered for the Okotoks Scrapbook Convention (this Saturday) is finally arriving. Oh My Word! There is some great stuff. And for those of you who are lucky enough to attend you'll get first dibs on these great goodies. If you aren't able to attend (four more spots were added!
