Layout #264

I loved scrapbooking Miles first day of school pictures. They were mostly taken by my talented Sister-In-Law Lindsay (of Picture a Memory Photography). I was so grateful she happened to pop by that day.
I  wanted to use all the pictures so the left side is a folder that opens and holds a smaller 10x10 page (pictured below). Love it.
I was so happy to use up some of this old Daisy D's paper. It was perfect for pre-school pictures!

Layout #211

Molly by Haley Ross
I am blogging. And posting layouts! And for the first time today, I browsed the web, looking at blogs of other unknown scrapbookers (not my friends) to see what they have been blogging about. Because it seems like I have nothing to write... And because I haven't been scrapbooking, I don't know what to blog. I thought I might get some ideas from other women... but alas, it seems like they have all made time to scrapbook. If you find yourself on this blog, and have one of your own that might inspire me, or heck, just give me something to read or a piece of eye candy, post a link. Please. I can only promise I wont leave mean comments, in fact, we could arrange for me to leave wildly complimentary ones that would make you look & feel successful. You decide.
So here, without further adieu, actually not deserving any adieu at all really, are my layouts....

My friend Kim took these pictures of Molly. And my favorite one is of her tiny little feet. I had asked Kacey for a good title for this page & she suggested 'Feet Balls'. (Just kidding, she didn't, it's an inside joke....). The paper was stolen from Kim (worth stealing wasn't it?), the gauze taken from a bag of Kim's hand-me-downs (which Kacey & I so selfishly hog. Leaving Tara to her own devices..). But the die-cuts were mine, and they were old, and that makes me happy.
Materials: Paper: My Minds Eye & Tim Holts; Die-Cuts: Daisy D's; Gauze: Scrappin' Extras; Brads: My Minds Eye and K&Co.; Rub Ons: Making Memories.

Layout #152

Smile by Haley Ross
I bought this pack of stickers a couple years ago. There was paper to match but I didn't love it.. so I only got the stickers. And they have been sitting around since then.. almost impossible to match with anything. Until now. I am so happy I finally got to use them. They are so cute. This is one of those layouts that I started (with all the brads) and wished I hadn't. It was so time consuming. But I am happy with the final result.
Materials: Patterned Paper: Making Memories, Scenic Route & Scrapbooking With Attitude; Stickers: Daisy D's; Brads: Making Memories; Grommets: K&Co.; Pen: EK Success Zig Writer

Layout 071

Full House by Haley Ross
This page really has nothing to do with the picture. Sometimes that just happens I guess. I could have tried to find vintage pictures... but I think that no matter how old we are, seeing a picture of all of us girls, makes me think these thoughts. I love my sisters.
I am so happy to have used the house paper from Daisy D's. I remember seeing it and thinking "So Cute. What the ____ am I going to do with it?" The whole paper was adorable so it hurt a little to cut it up, but I am happy with the results. I'd love to see other stuff people have done with this line, so if you have anything, let me see it.
Old Stock: Pretty much everything. But I did have to buy a purple pen for this layout.
Materials: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics; Die-Cut Paper: ki memories; Patterned Paper: Daisy D's: Alphabet Stickers: making memories; Pen: Le Pen; Other: Staples.
Ps. In case you didn't notice I am almost at the half-way point for my 2009 goal. I hope to reach #75 before July 1st so that I am on-track. Fingers crossed.

The Wonder Years by Daisy D's has arrived. And it is so cute. So cute.
The papers are so funky and there are matching die-cuts, cardstock stickers, rub-ons & metal embellishments. The colors are bright & fun. I love it.

Another reason....

I stole this picture off of the DaisyD's website. So if you come to the store tomorrow, and it is not open, the copyright police have gotten me :)
I just loved how they showcased the new products (which we now have available in store!). The papers are gorgeous. And the the details....oooooh! Great buttons, flowers & ribbons! But best of all, are the totally smart rub-on phrases and stickers. The "arrows" are flying off the shelves!
Beautiful for fall.... You must check these out!
