Layout 267

The Good Life by Haley Ross
I could never get enough of scrapbooking the random cabin pictures I take. I love each season & every shot I take. This layout actually sucks (boooring) but I have been so happy just to be getting things done.

Layout #253

i love you
I love these pictures of Molly. I got these little Juicy pants from my friend Trista in a bag of hand-me-downs from her girls (thanks!). They are too cute (and too sexy for a baby?!?!). Either way, I love them, but only have her wear them at home or camping, I don't think little girls need to be walking around with writing on their bums, that's just me. Molly is into everything lately. I can't leave her alone for a moment. Today she ate charcoal from the fireplace....I wish I could say it was the first time. On this day she was all over our charging station, intent on stealing a cell phone. I explained to her that she had to be 12 to have one ;)
Love that I used up some really old rub-ons on this layout, and a big thank you to my friend Jen who traded me that cute Telephone die-cut for...something, I don't remember.

Layout #225

ROAR by Haley Ross
The piece of paper that the letter R goes onto, pulls out & has more pictures. I took so many and couldn't decide which ones to use...so I included them all. And this paper line from MME is perfect for our trip to the Calgary Zoo's 'Dinosaurs Alive' exhibit.
Materials: Patterned Paper, Brads & Chipboard shapes: My Minds Eye; Alphabet Stickers: Thickers by American Crafts & Cosmo Cricut; Mini Paper: My Little Yellow Bicycle.

Hopaluk by Haley Ross (Hopaluk for life!)
I love my family. My extended family. Not everyone is as lucky as I am. These people mean so much to me & have made me who I am today. I had (have) the best cousins growing up. Here is my yearly tribute to them. I used these super old canvas alphabet stickers & some old sticky canvas paper I found in my stash. In 2010 I only made 4 trips to a scrapbook store (and two online & home-party orders...) & I can see my stash dwindling before my eyes. I love it. Sometimes it feels so good to be thrifty & resourceful.
Materials: Pattered Paper: My Minds Eye; Canvas Paper: Close to My Heart; Canvas Alphabet & Tab Stickers; Making Memories; Brad & Epoxy Charm: Making Memories; Paper Flower: Prima; Envelope: Lil Davis Designs.

This layout went all wrong. Its weirdly tilted on one side. Whatever.

Keeping Up by Haley Ross
Last weekend I had some gals over to scrapbook... and by that I mean, I invited a few too many & ended up moving my couch, coffee table & husband (!) to squeeze 12 scrapbookers into my living room. My house is tiny but I think it went off well. This layout is the one of two that I finished this weekend. Some people might think 2 is a lot (some people like Lindsay...) but I usually pop off 12-18 on a weekend away. It was a loss for me. But I had fun & now I know the limits of our little bungalow. Thank you to everyone who came.

Layout #208

Our Family by Haley Ross
I haven't journaled this layout, I still get a little too emotional... I don't want what I have to say to sound all sappy, but it will. This layout is simple, I'll probably add to it, any suggestions? I can't believe how much I have scrapbooked in the past 2 weeks. I am soooo proud of me. Haha! No really, I want to meet my goal and I am only 42 layouts from doing that.
Dang! Girl guides just came by & I didn't have any cash on me.
Materials: Patterned Paper: Fancy Pants Designs & My Minds Eye; Stickers: Fancy Pants; Rub On: My Minds EYe; Buttons: Stampin' Up;

Layout #202

Molly by Haley Ross
I love this layout. It's so girly. Thanks to Jen for the idea of layering the border strips, it was a lot of work, but worth it.... I don't know that I'd call this 'simple' scrapbooking, but it looks simple enough... I love having a baby girl that lets me get my 'pink on'.

Layout #183

Sticky Little Man by Haley Ross
I was so happy to remember that I had these great felt letters from Martha Stewart. They work perfectly with Miles' hat. I got them a couple years ago in my stocking & remember thinking "Cute, but how will I ever use these?" Ta-da!
Materials: Patterned Paper & Die-Cuts: My Minds Eye: Alphabet Letters: Martha Stewart Crafts; Felt Buttons: Making Memories; Embroidery Floss: Bazzill Basics.
I've been scrapbooking a lot lately. I spend my days out in the sun & usually try to slip in an hour or two for scrapbooking at least one evening a week. Brian is amazing at making sure I have time for this.. it's good to have him on-board. I am always asked how I find the time to scrapbook, but I think you'll never FIND time, you have to MAKE time. I love this, so I MAKE time for it.

Love You by Haley Ross
Ok. This is the first single-page layout I have done in a really long time. And I am sooo happy with it. I think I might even start including some singles in my albums. Kim took this picture of Molly when she was one week old. I love it. I used up some super old alphabet stickers so that makes me happy, and I robbed some stuff from Kim which makes me even happier....

2 Years by Haley Ross
Isn't my husband adorable? Well I think so. He really goes the extra miles on our anniversary, I usually just get him a card... He even typed out this menu of our dinner so of course I had to keep it & add it to this page. What a geek.

Layout #164

Molly & Mom by Haley Ross
I still have some journaling to do on this page but I just can't seem to write anything without it being too sappy or silly. I know it will come... I love these pictures Michelle Gier took. Molly was 5 days old when Michelle came by to photograph her... I was tired and sore but I am so happy to have them. And how perfect is this paper? So perfect. I love it. And I'd also like to point out that these alphabet stickers are like, 5 years old. Amazing!

Layout #161

Molly by Haley Ross

I feel so lucky when I have a great photo that is centered so that it will make a perfect layout when blown up to a 12x18" photo. This was one of those times.
I haven't journaled the page yet, but I will.
I am proud of myself because I tend to cut corners & skip anything that requires too much 'detailing' in my layouts these days. This time I took the time, did the stitching & embellishing, and I am proud of the way it turned out.
I am grateful for Michelle who not only took these beautiful photos but also came by to scrapbook today & was there to provide "encouragement" while I did this layout. She is such a calming soul & I find I take my time when scrapbooking with her. Thanks Michelle!

I started this layout & had such a great picture in my mind... but somewhere things took a turn for the worse. I don't think I chose the right paper, which doesn't help. But here it is. Done.

Gingerbread by Haley Ross
I really like this layout. And I love the paper from MME. I also love the small 2x3 photos that you can get printed at Wal Mart. So handy. And I cut a CTMH Flip Flap in half and it worked perfectly for the small pictures.

big by Haley Ross
No journaling! Something different for me. And it's killing me. But what was I going to write "This is my kid with giant pumpkins."? Obviously.

Layout #124

i love hiking by Haley Ross
Well, I had big intentions of taking pictures of the last 30 or so layouts I have done today. Not going to happen. For some reason, my camera (and definitely not myself) is acting up today. All my shots are blurry. Anyway, I'll post the couple that didn't turn out too poorly. Sorry about the fuzziness.
I used stickers on this layout. Which I think is funny. There was a time when I rarely used stickers (directly following a time when I was buying them off the roll by the dozens), and now they seem to be making a comeback in my scrapbooking. Do you have any products like that? Weird how that happens.
On another note, I could pretty much use the Life Stories Kraft line by MME on every layout I do. But I will limit myself, otherwise it'd get boring. I really do love Kraft paper. It's so easy to use. I love their die-cut sheets. I tried to mimic the mountains with the triangle die-cut, did that come across?
