The Wonder Years by Daisy D's has arrived. And it is so cute. So cute.
The papers are so funky and there are matching die-cuts, cardstock stickers, rub-ons & metal embellishments. The colors are bright & fun. I love it.

New

Tim Holtz is a genius. And the new Grunge Board is nothing short of that.... Genius.
There are about a million things you can do with this durable product. Head to YouTube for a great demo video on how to use this new product. Then stop by the store & pick up Alphabets, Punctuation or Swirls in your choice of design.
But hurry, these are going fast!

Spring has Sprung!

Spring & Easter products are starting to arrive.... Check out the cute epoxy embellishments from making memories (pictured above). Their Garden Party line is totally cute.
We also LOVE the Imaginisce spring papers (below), double-sided & glittery.

Reminisce Easter papers (pictured below) have a shimmer to them. And they are double-sided. Great for cardmaking, but best of all is the yellow "chicks" paper (come & check it out!) with matching rub-ons & stickers.

Learn to Flock.......

...in this month's Calendar Class. Around the Block flocking and glitter kits will be included in the Class Kit so you can take the technique you've learned home, and flock all night!
You'll love the versatility the adhesive stickers provide (choose your own color of flocking or glitter). The Calendar class runs every month. Each month you will create a layout to add to a 12x12 Calendar (we love Heidi Swapp's) at the end of the year... ta da! A complete calendar! Or, if Calendars aren't your thing... just come for the layout & add it to your album.

February Contest

Let's get journaling........

It's February and love is in the air (as cold as that air might be!). Sometimes all it takes to make a great page is a little inspiration! Have you ever tried to create a page from Creative Journaling? Give it a go and you could win a K&Co Caddy filled with everything pink (pictured below) valued at $55.00. The topic? Love Affairs. We want to hear, in 400 words or less, about a Love Affair in your life. Remember: Love Affairs come in all shapes & sizes. It doesn't have to be something steamy, or even mushy. It can be as simple as my greatest temptation (one of the things I cannot live without & think of all the time): A tall soy, no water, extra foamy Tazo Chai Latte from Starbucks.

Send all entries to: sheepriverscrapbookco@hotmail.com
Subject Line: Love Affair

Entries must be received by February 29th to qualify.
All entries will be published but can remain anonymous if you wish.

Layout 021

"B" by Haley Ross
As if! I did this whole layout with only ONE patterned paper. Unreal (for me anyway). But I like how the Softies by ki Memories (my new fav. embellishment???) stand out. I did make a huge boo-boo. I accidentally rubbed off a transfer onto Brian's picture and so I covered it up with the chipboard. I think it worked out ok. And I cut the large scallop by hand (yeah, I know....). I think this whole "Simple Scrapbook" resolution is really working out for me. I have done more pages this year than in all of 2007. And it's February 5th! Love it!
Materials: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics; Patterned Paper: Scenic Route; Tag Rims: Making Memories; Rub-On: My Minds Eye; Chipboard & Softies: ki Memories; B Embellishment: making memories; Pen: Ek Success; Ribbon: Off of a wedding gift. I really do save everything!

Dare Ya by Haley Ross
I love the new Pop Culture line from ki Memories. I love it all. The chipboard (letters & shapes), the papers (double-sided, so bright & totally coordinate with each other) and the Softies. There are also really sweet Mad-Lib style stickers that I couldn't fit onto the page but I totally love.
This is my sister who is a little shy but the funniest chick in the world (and beautiful). I couldn't wait to scrapbook these pictures. I was so glad A.She let me take them and B. They turned out so well (great lighting!).
Materials: Patterned Paper, Chipboard & Softies: ki Memories; Live Out Loud Patterned Paper: Sweetwater.

iBaby by Haley Ross
I was so nervous to write on my photo (I used a Zig Vellum Writer which works awesome!). The picture is a 12x18 cut down a little and printed at Shoppers Drug Mart. I am having a great time working on my Pregnancy layouts. I guess because it is new and pretty exciting still.
Materials: Patterned Paper: Basic Grey; Chipboard: Heidi Swapp; Stickers: 7 Gypsies; Ribbon: ki memories; Brads: Basic Grey; Pen: EK Success; Cardstock: Worldwin
