The paints for the new Noteworthy Collection (coming soon!) from Making Memories came today. They are so beautiful. A while ago I kind of fell off the "foam stamp" wagon. To be honest, it was pure laziness. Foam stamps are a lot of work. But lately, I have been pulling out the paints again because of the handy disposable foam brush. ( If you don't have this, and find yourself avoiding these paints because of the mess, then you need to get it!). The glitter paints in this collection are cute. So cute. I love the red glitter. Perfect timing for Christmas!

I had to.......
.........and you might too!
I HAD to have this. HAD to. Because when I saw it, I instantly thought of a million things I could put in it. The new embellishment box from Making Memories is so awesome. So awesome. It is improved (Big Time!) with 32 compartments and they WILL NOT spill over into each other as they are each a single mould. I fully intend to decorate the box with all of those stickers I have been hoarding & a tonne of cute stamps. This thing is worth EVERY penny.

And to my sister Kendra and her brave new boyfriend Ryan for keeping everyone's martini full all night long! Also thanks to my sister-in-law Heather Ross.

New ( I love that word!)
I have just received the Travel, Tropical & Funky Vintage Lines from making memories. These lines were put out in the Spring but I put off ordering them until now so that they would be around for our busy fall season.
The winners? I love the 6x9 albums. (Pictured above in red.) They are a perfect gift size, and would be fabulous for a mini vacation album. Plus, they match all of the new goodies. And, they are flocked, so they feel wonderful. They are available in 6 different styles for $14.99ea.

I also like these journaling tags from the Travel & Tropical (pictured above) lines. Smart! I never did scrapbook our trip to Hawaii a couple years ago, because I didn't like the selection of tropical papers available then. These toned down tags (papers, stickers, flowers, & more) will be perfect. Can't wait!

My Town, Part 2
I am so excited for Part 2 of the My Town class tonight. My photos turned out great!
For those of you who missed out, you should be very jealous. In the first part of the class, we went to several locations around town & took pictures with Arlee Sebryk (our resident photographer!). We hit up the Sheep River, the old Post Office, the Ginger Tea House & a couple other great sites. And we hit the Jackpot when we heard a train coming over the bridge at our last location. Like a maniac, I ran all the way to the bridge (which turned out to be totally unnecessary and ruined a perfectly good pair of sneakers!). I'm so happy with the shots I will likely frame my fav. one for my home. In Part Two of the class, we will be making a double-paged layout with our pictures! Can't wait!

Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
I spent the weekend at our cabin in Northern Saskatchewan.
We have fabulous sunsets up there ( This picture is taken from the dock that Brian and I got married on.) The kind of sunset that makes you so grateful to be alive....
On October 15th the Instant Album is a little fold-out box book featuring things you are grateful for. For me, Turtle Lake sunsets will definitely be included.
Other things I am Grateful for (in no particular order):
My Health. I may be a bit out of shape, but I can walk, skip, jump & sing. And I can spend a day loading firewood with my family.
My Family. Mom & Dad. Always so supportive. Kendra & Carmelle. Also Ryan McGee, Kendra's new guy, who bought us over with his great sense of humor. And Jack Maclellan, who we missed this weekend, even though with text messaging, it was like he was right there. Koho, Boneka & Mollie. And finally, the Ross crew. I just love them all.
My Home. Even in it's current condition ( an unpainted railing, old front door & unfinished projects lurking at every turn). It's prefect for me. The size, the colors, the coziness.
Brian. I love him. And he loves me. And the rest is my secret.
My Store. Stressful at times. But I get to do what I love, and I have wonderful people who support me. And I have made some wonderful friends because of Sheep River Scrapbook Co.
Scrapbooking. Different than #5 in many ways. I am grateful that I still love it. And only wish I had more time for it. I realize what an important part of my life it is.
Start thinking of things you are Grateful for..... Take pictures & sign up for Instant Album.

Four NEW lines include: Park Buddies, Kitty's Place (my fav.) , Ally's Wonderland & Madera Island (which I know will be a crowd pleaser!).
